Story Synopsis
The Russian Western Command of the Moscow Division Headquarters invites the beautiful sniper Malina. The chief outlines the situation and instructs her to eliminate the Ukrainian sniper who has caused significant damage. The chief pronounces the name, but Malina asks him to repeat it. She sounds strong and tough about her duty — willing to do anything for her country. After the conversation, she receives the assignment letter.
Malina’s strong personality is evident as she leaves the office and walks toward the parking lot. However, gradually, her confidence begins to fade. She is afraid to open the assignment letter, but somehow, she gathers her strength and slowly unfolds it. As she reads, the lines scroll down until the name “Zukhov” appears — and she freezes.
The weight of that name hits her like a thunderbolt. Memories flood her mind — images of the past. She becomes devastated and broken, tears welling up in her eyes. She can’t stand properly and has to support herself on a stand. Her knees buckle, and she sinks to the ground, tears streaming down her face. The strength she once wore like armor crumbles away, leaving her vulnerable and raw.
But amidst her despair, a flicker of determination ignites within her. She wipes her tears and takes a deep breath, reminding herself of her duty. This mission is more than just a task; it’s her chance to make a difference — to honor those who couldn’t stand anymore. Slowly, she stands up, straightens her shoulders, and looks toward the horizon with renewed resolve.
She knows she has to push through. The battle is not just outside — it’s within her. Every step she takes brings her closer to her target, and with each step, her resolve grows stronger.
